Punta Arenas: Full-Day Torres del Paine Tour

About This Experience
For travellers based in Punta Arenas, this tour runs every day of the year and fits the main sights of Torres del Paine into one long day. Allow about three hours each way by van, with a short photo stop in Puerto Natales on the way.
The first visit is the Milodon Cave, where remains of the extinct giant ground sloth were found. In the park, the route takes in Grey Beach with icebergs washed up on the shore, the Lake Pehoé viewpoint, a walk to the Salto Grande waterfall, Lake Nordenskjöld below the Paine Massif, and finally the towers seen across Laguna Amarga.
The guide adds context on the park, founded in 1959 and declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1978. You are dropped back at your accommodation in Punta Arenas at the end of the day.

100% would do this tour again! Everything exceeded my expectations. All the spots we visited to take photos were spectacular, thanks to the good weather. Did a bit of hiking which was easy and well-paced. Transport was very convenient, all thanks to the driver. The guide spoke flawless English and was very helpful. If you forget to buy entrance tickets online beforehand, don't worry—you can get them from one of the ticketing machines at the entrance.

Prompt pickup and guide was knowledgeable about local weather conditions so trip was amended slightly as a result. Very interesting places visited and in- depth information given at each stop. Pedro gave everyone the opportunity to take many photographs. Our driver Cristopher was amazing - some difficult roads but we felt completely safe.

The tour was absolutely fantastic! Torres del Paine was without a doubt the best tour of our trip in Chile. It didn't matter that the weather was cloudy and cold—the scenery and breathtaking views made it completely worth it. This place is beautiful in any season of the year and truly a must-see destination. A special thanks to Diego, our guide, for all his explanations, knowledge, and enthusiasm throughout the day. He also took amazing photos for us, making the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!
