Puerto Natales: Torres del Paine Full Day Tour

4.8 (1,116 verified reviews)

About This Experience

This is the classic way to see Torres del Paine in a single day without hiking. A van collects you from your accommodation in Puerto Natales and enters the park through the Laguna Amarga gate, where the three granite towers that give the park its name come into view.

From there the route works west through the park, stopping at a string of viewpoints so you see the Paine Massif from several sides. Lunch is taken around midday (bring your own; food is not included), then the van continues to Grey Lake, where you walk out onto the beach to look across the water at the western face of the massif and the blue ice of Grey Glacier in the distance.

On the way back to Puerto Natales the tour stops at the Milodon Cave Natural Monument, the cavern where remains of a giant ground sloth from the Pleistocene were found. Expect to be back in town between 17:00 and 18:00. The guide speaks English and Spanish, and with more than 1,100 reviews this is the most-reviewed Torres del Paine day tour on GetYourGuide.

What Travelers Say

We had such a great experience on our Torres del Paine tour! Our tour guide Daniel and driver Jame were fantastic. Daniel was super knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything in both Spanish and English. Pickup and drop off were also smooth and easy. We got really lucky with beautiful weather and clear views of the mountains. We also saw so much wildlife, including pumas, guanacos, eagles, cows and more! The views were absolutely beautiful, and it was great learning about the history of the park along the way. We stopped at a café about 30 minutes into the drive where we could grab something light to eat or drink, and I even picked up a couple of souvenirs. There was also a lunch stop, but I would definitely recommend packing your own lunch so you can spend more time exploring and enjoying the views. Also don’t forget to bring WATER!!

It is cool. I enjoyed the trip with the guide Nicolas and the driver. Both of them are supportive, professional and helpful. Nicolas helped me take a lot of nice pictures and provide decent information of Torres del Paine. The day that we went on the trip had a lot of snow but we completed the trip safely thanks to the guide and the driver. Gracias!
