Which Torres del Paine Day Tour Is Right for You?
Every Torres del Paine day tour on this site compared on price, day length, effort and reviews, with a clear pick for each kind of traveller.

Eleven day tours on this site cover the same park, and they split into four groups: viewpoint circuits, hikes, glacier boats and wildlife. Most first-time visitors should book the Puerto Natales full day tour, the most-reviewed option by far, which shows you the towers, the Cuernos, Grey Lake and the Milodon Cave in about 12 hours (our breakdown). Want to stand at the base of the towers? You need a hike instead. Coming from El Calafate or Punta Arenas? There are day tours for that too, but they are long.

What every tour here has in common
Whichever you choose, the basics are the same. Every tour on this list offers free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start, and all of them except the Grey Glacier boat from Hotel Lago Grey include transport. Guides work in English and Spanish. None of them include the national park entry, which you buy online yourself. So the real choice is about the shape of the day, not the paperwork.
Pick by what matters most
You want the highlights in one day: the Puerto Natales full day tour, from $75
The Puerto Natales full day tour is the default for good reason. It picks you up at your accommodation, enters at Laguna Amarga for the first view of the three towers, works through a chain of viewpoints on the Paine Massif, stops at the Grey Lake beach and adds the Milodon Cave on the way back. You are home between 17:00 and 18:00. More than 1,100 reviews put it far ahead of any other day tour in sample size. Our breakdown of this tour →
You want to pay as little as possible: a budget full day tour, from $69–$73
The Full Day Torres del Paine + Milodon Cave costs from $73 with 366 reviews and publishes the most detailed itinerary of any tour here. It includes a 40-minute walk to Salto Grande, an hour at Grey Lake and an hour at the Milodon Cave, back around 17:30. The Torres del Paine National Park Full-Day Tour is a few dollars cheaper at $69 and rated 5.0, but on only 25 reviews so far. Our breakdown of the $73 tour →
You want a smaller group and a later start: small group + Milodon Cave, from $79
The small-group tour picks up between 7:30 and 8:00, later than most, and stops for coffee at Villa Cerro Castillo. It also spends a full hour at Grey Lake beach. Our breakdown →
You want to stand under the towers: a Base Torres hike, from $97–$99
No viewpoint tour reaches the lagoon at the foot of the towers. For that you walk about 20–22 km with roughly 900 metres of climbing. The Base of the Towers day hike has 915 reviews and includes poles. The small-group Base Torres trek caps the group at 12 and adds a second guide for groups over six. Our Base Torres hike vs full day tour guide helps you decide whether you are up for it.
You want to walk, but not 22 km: the Miradores trekking day, from $100
The Miradores trekking day splits the day into three moderate hikes: the Aonikenk Trail with rock art more than 10,000 years old, the Cuernos lookout, and the climb to the Condor lookout over Lake Pehoé. Rated 4.9, it is the best-scored tour on this site. Our breakdown →
You want Grey Glacier from the water: the boat, alone or as a combo
The three-hour Grey Glacier boat starts at Hotel Lago Grey inside the park and does not include transport, so it suits people with a car. From Puerto Natales without a car, the Grey Glacier boat + full day tour includes the boat ticket, pickup and the main viewpoints afterwards.
You are staying in El Calafate or Punta Arenas
Both work, but both are long days. The El Calafate full day crosses the Argentina–Chile border twice and includes a boxed lunch. See our El Calafate day trip guide. The Punta Arenas full day runs every day of the year with about three hours of driving each way.
You came for pumas
A standard day tour might pass a puma; a puma tour goes looking for one. The private puma-watching expedition uses wildlife specialists, a 4x4 and spotting gear. The operator is clear that sightings are never guaranteed.
Know before you book
The park ticket is yours to buy. None of these tours include Torres del Paine entry. Visitors on tours are expected to buy it online in advance from CONAF. See the entrance ticket guide.
Bring your own lunch on the Puerto Natales tours. Food is not included, and there is little to buy on the road loop.
Winter changes the hikes, not the viewpoint tours. In the 2026 winter season an accredited guide was required on the Base Torres trail through mid-September. Check the best time to visit guide before booking a hike between May and September.
Age limits apply to the hikes. The Base Torres treks are not suitable for children under 10, and the small-group trek sets an upper age limit of 60.
